Last of our Summer Fun

We didn't have to say goodbye to Mimzy and Pop Pop for long.  They came to visit us one week after we said goodbye to them in SLC.  Claire came down for the weekend too!

  Sam runs to Mimzy first thing in the morning and cuddles her.  And when I ask Luke to say "Mimzy", he looks at me with a smirk and says "Pop Pop!"  We love our Mimzy and Pop Pop.

Baby Girl is already SPOILED!

 My mom entered our door with this beautiful box.  She started knitting this blanket at the very same time I got pregnant, not knowing who or when someone would have a girl but thinking someone would have to at some point.  I really think that her prayers go straight to heaven.  

I am overwhelmed by this darling blanket and precious rabbit!  

I love that we get to benefit from her talent, time and love.

It is a GIRL!!!

Luckily, I wont have to practice girly hairdos on the boys much longer.

Back with DADDY

It was hard being away from Daddy for 2 weeks but luckily when we got home, his finals were over and we could play hard.  

This was a cool dinosaur exhibit where the dinosaurs moved, breathed and blinked.
Sam was totally spooked but Luke was amazed.  

Beach day at Padre Island off of Corpus Christi.  They spent about
an hour digging for mollusk shells.  Sam was in heaven and said he wanted to
stay at the beach for 5 more days.  Luke was happy playing in the van.  

Torrey with Kazie and Gig

Kazie and Gig met us in Torrey for a weekend.  It was so great to see them,
 walk around Capitol Reef, throw sticks in the water,
and play Ginasta until late at night.  

My dad is obsessed with watching deer.  He took my phone to take pictures,
jumped the fence, got in their faces  and then put his finger over the camera in 20 pics.
It was more entertaining watching my dad then it was watching the deer.

Sam named this awesome Vespa the "Stomping Beast".  He became quite the pro at driving it up and down the driveway, around parked cars, and doing 360's.

Lukey is still obsessed with Elmo and Bicky made sure he had plenty of him. 

We had a wonderful time with Poppy!  My favorite place in the whole world is sitting with her on her patio.  

We also visited Aunt Joyce and Uncle Dale.   Uncle Dale rebuilt this tractor after his stroke!  

The boys picked out some treasures (rocks) from Aunt Joyce. 

Driving a 1962 Rambler rebuilt completely by Uncle Dale. 

Fun times with Grandma, Benjo and Wendy.  Sam got a trip to Hogle Zoo!  

Aspen Grove Lindgren Reunion

What a great family reunion!  Even though Ryan was greatly missed, we were busy having a ton of fun like: Family history jeopardy night, frontier games, talent show, book club, bonding, rocket shooting, train riding, pottery, fishing, watermelon eating, swimming, hiking, singing, and Wacky 6.  

The boys were spoiled beyond belief.  It is difficult to live so far away from family but it makes moments like this even more sweet.
