Tessa turns 5

Tessa is full of life, opinionated, and still loves her Bobby and thumb.
Daddy asks her what she wants to be when she grows up and she says,
"The President."  She is not short in confidence.
We stayed up until midnight and walked down to the village center to watched the fireworks.
It is so cool that Tessa always gets fireworks for her birthday.

Tessa's Birthday Party

Tessa is turning 5!
She got to share her birthday party with Charlotte Amidan.
It really was the best way to do a party and makes me always want joint parties.
We found treasures in rainbow balls,  made treasure boxes, created wands and jewelry, played dress up and took pictures.
All of the guests brought a used book for Tessa and Charlotte.

Sam's Art

Sam is a great student and artist.  Mrs. Chebaro wrote him this nice note.  She raved about him at parent teacher conference.

Luxembourg with Mark

Mark came out with his mom and aunt to visit his family in France.  He stopped in Luxembourg for a concert and so I got to meet up with him and his friend.
Fun to see a face from home.

Verdun on Armistice Day

What an amazing opportunity to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of Armistice Day
in Verdun, the WWI battle field, memorial, cemetery, ossuary, and museum.
November 11, 1918 at 11 a.m. the cessation of hostilities on the
Western Front of WWI went into effect.
There was a nice memorial service performed in German, French and English.
We also ran into several ward members who also wanted to take part in this historic event.
