Ryan back in the U.S.

Ryan went Massachusetts for a week
for a conference.
This has truly been a crazy month.
We have had a blast but I am exhausted and ready for it to be over.

He loved the stores, food, and trash cans.

Here we are skyping with him with the Halloween additions.

I love Ryan in the top right corner

He was happy to come back to Germany.
He says it is a lot safer here.

Ryan noticed all the trash he made for buying a bagel and donut,
each with their own bag, paper and napkins

Deenie gave these puppies to the kids and they are their favorite
little buddies.  They rarely go anywhere without them.
Tessa definitely takes her's to kindergarten EVERYDAY.
Luke named is Little Max.
Tessa named her's Lena.

Fun with Sandra

Sandra has done a wonderful job at visiting us at almost EVERY place we have lived.
The two of us went to Trier on Thursday.

On Saturday we went to a chocolate factory, Annweiler Trifels burg, and a German Shoe Museum.

We toured an old shoe factory that showed how they made shoes in the 1800s and how things adjusted with WWII.
It also showed the history of shoes.

Everyone loves Sandra.

Dachau Concentration Camp and Memorial Site

Our last day of filming was on Monday Oct 16th and then our dear friend, Sandra, came to visit on Wednesday Oct 18th.  Ryan took Friday off and they went to Dachau.
I went when I was 22 years old.  It was a good thing to do without the kids.
