Tessa turns 7

At the last minute, Tessa said that she wanted a Minion piñata and I was able to pull this off with supplies we had around the house! Tessa is 7!  Hooray.

I was able to get a box full of stuffies for free off of Marketplace. 

The Christensens came over (like they did last year) to celebrate.  

We were not allowed to have fireworks this year.

Decorating for Christmas

It sure feels like Christmas with everything snow covered outside and feeling cozy inside.

This year, Ashley, Jane and I made tamales a few days in advance.  It took all day but they are such fun company that they make anything fun.  It was cool to learn how to do it as it is tradition for Jane to make them for Christmas every year.

Being Outside

Our walks are what saved our mental health during Covid lockdowns.

Ryan was so good at capturing the amazing scenery each time he went out.

We would try to go every day no matter how cold or how icy it was.  

Many times, Ryan would hold my hand as I would slip and slide on the path.

But the fresh air and beauty always put us in a good frame of mind; how could it not?
