Luke's fieldtrip to Mainz

We love Luke's kindergarten. They give him so much love and attention. They took his class on a special all day field trip to Mainz. They even delivered him to our door at 4 p.m. At the end of school, these awesome teachers, Uli and Sabine, hosted a slumber party at the kindergarten for the 5 graduating kindergarteners. Luke was a little nervous, but had a BLAST!

Cruise on the Rhine
I didn't know what to get Jenny for her 40th birthday. I have given her about 39 birthday presents and couldn't think of anything new and special. I decided to give her another memory. She was already coming to see me but I thought it would be charming for us to take a little cruise along the Rhine River and it did not disappoint.
And just for the record, she knocked it out of the park with her gift for my 40th birthday.
The stone for 40 is a ruby and she knows red is my favorite color. She got me a ruby necklace!
I love it and wear it every day.

Trier and Lichtenstein
It was amazing to have Jenny all to myself roaming around Europe! She has been my constant friend since I was 5 months old! All of my favorite memories of growing up are with her. It is so wonderful to make more memories together.
