We were so lucky to have a visit from Wendy and Justin. They spoiled the kids with gifts, clothes, stuffed webkins, and homemade activities by Emilie for the long car rides. We picked them up from the Frankfurt airport and drove straight to Nuremberg. We went to the Documentation Center and the Nazi Party Rally Grounds. Most of the photos are curtesy of Justin.
We then toured around downtown. Ryan did an amazing parking job!
We stayed the night at the bottom of Eagle Nest and went up the next morning. It was super cloudy but it was still pretty impressive.
We then ended in Salzberg.
We made sure to hit the Sound of Music sights. Sam cried when Wendy and Justin had to leave. Tessa fell asleep right before they left and then when she woke up, she was devastated. Gosh, it was so great to get to spend time with them. It made it harder to live so far away.
