This is the 3rd generation of Upside Down Backwards birthday parties.
My grandmother did one for my mom. My mom did one for me and now it is time for Sam.
The kids wore their clothes backwards or inside out. We started with ice cream (no cake because Sam isn't much of a fan) and then did backwards games like:
Pin the donkey on the tail
Backwards freeze dance
Backwards musical chairs
Backwards Hide and Seek
Backwards tag
and
Eat a donut from a string
Great friends came to celebrate: Isaiah, Ellie, Max, David, Allen, Jack, Anders and Tommy
On Sam's actual birthday, we had the Canites staying with us. He was easy with just wanting donuts instead of cake. He was spoiled by both grandparents.
We love our 8 year old. He is such a great big brother. He tested into the gifted program, loves music, legos, video games, playing tag, spending time with Luke and friends, watching Gravity Falls, reading Harry Potter, and staying up late.
