I literally was coughing for about 3 out of the 6 months that I worked. Several times I had to leave the room in the middle of an exam to hack up a lung. Well, on top of that I got a kidney infection that went septic. I felt so awful that I burst into tears. Luckily, the American clinic was able to give me IV antibiotics and that really helped turn things around. Ryan snapped this picture while he waited for me.
