 Cleaning the Church
I thought that our little Baumholder building was charming but it was the bane of Ryan's existence.  Things never got fixed. There was broken down cars, glass, and trash dumpsters all around.

Liv finally gets birthday party
Rachael found out that people were meeting in groups at the park on Ramstein.
Nice to feel normal and go to a birthday party.
May the 4th be with you.

Gifts from Neighbors
Our neighbors are so kind.
Frau Rosmarie gave the kids gift cards to Rofu for Christmas and they bought stuffies.
Anna Lena Prien's grandma made us this blanket for Christmas.

FLECKENSTEIN

Michelle and McKay in 2005/06
Small world.  We finally figured out that they were in Deseret Towers together.
Then realized they were in the same ward and went to dances together.

Tulips from Holland
Years ago, Brooklynne brought us these tulips from the Netherlands.
Every year they bloom and bring me so much happiness.

Around Oberarnbach

Day in Cologne

BONN

Bonn is the home of Haribo and it's Outlet store.  It was fun to see all of the options, even kosher and vegan.  It is also the birthplace of Beethoven.  The town was charming with stations giving information around town.

Tessa

Tessa is lucky to have Mila as a friend.
She lives on the other side of Oberarnbach and they do a dance class together in Hermersberg.

GIRLS' TRIP
Ashley, Jayne, Carly and I flew to Faro, Portugal and stayed in a resort on the beach.  We enjoyed yummy meals, rode a boat to caves, and did coasteering.  What is coasteering?  Climbing up cliffs and jumping off them into the ocean.  We did 10 jumps going from 5 feet to 30 feet!  Our guide was impressed with us because no one chickened out.  It was a blast.

Biking to Wallhaben

Hike near Saalstadt
Michelle met us for a little hike.  Her kids are fearless and after a few minutes of being there, Katherine fell off the waterfall and hit her head.  She had a huge goose egg on her face.  She left with Katherine to clean her up and decide if she needed to go to the hospital.  Luckily, Katherine was just fine.

A few more pictures:
Luke loves reading in laundry baskets.  He will wake up early in the morning and when we cant find him, we look in the bathroom.
