Joan of Arc is considered a heroine for her role in the Hundred Years War and was burned here in 1431 at age 19. I remember coming here with my family at age 11 or 12 and the impact it had on me.

| La Couronne is the oldest Inn in France dating back to 1345 and it is now a famous restaurant. Many famous people go to eat here and put their signed pictures up on the wall. I went inside and some I saw were Humphrey Bogart, Audrey Hepburn, Katherine Hepburn, Queen Elizabeth, Julia Child, Sly Stallone, and Martin Sheen, just to name a few. |
