We wrapped up the last day of our trip (Day 3) in Madrid. We walked past the palace where we saw the changing of the gaurd. We went to a park where there was an Egyptian Temple gifted to Spain and a beautiful view of the city. We saw a monument to Cervantes. I felt continuing guilt I never got past page 12 of Don Quixote. The weather was great and the stroll was pleasant till we got to crowded city center.
That afternoon we visited the Madrid Bullring and Bull Fighting Museum. Then we were off to the Airport. We loved our 3 days in Central Spain and the 28 miles we walked were well worth it.
The kids played with food for the whole plane ride back.
