Holyrood Palace and Arthur's Seat

Holyrood Palace is full of dramatic history especially on March 9 in 1566.  A group of Scottish nobles burst into Mary Queen of Scots' bedchamber and murdered her secretary, David Rizzio, by stabbing him to death.  This was ordered by her husband as he was concerned of Rizzio's influence over the Queen and he suspected that they were lovers.
Queen Elizabeth still comes to Holyrood one week in the summer to reside.

There was an exhibit about Meghan and Harry's wedding
