Nesting

More baby stuff.
I am nesting and it is getting exhausting. Luckily, I don't do it as much on work days because I am too exhausted. But for the last three Saturdays, I have woken up from 4-6 a.m ready to clean, clean, clean.

I almost feel like it is a mental illness. I have been crawling around wiping off baseboards, moving furniture, dusting blinds, tidying closets, vacuuming and armor-alling cars. Not to mention, I make multiple trips to Target, Ross and Walmart every Saturday to make sure we have baby supplies. Ryan asked if he could help and I said, "SAVE YOURSELF!!!"

I have 5 more weeks and feel like I will be totally worn out if I keep this up before the baby. My plan for the next five Saturdays is to lay by the pool, read Entertainment Weekly, and drink some lemonade. Hopefully, I can stick to that.

Great plan! Wish I could join you poolside! You have the same mental illness that all almost-ready-to-deliver moms get. Good thing it's temporary!

Can't wait to meet lil' Sammy!

I think nesting isn't temporary. It's seasonal. It hits me still regularly, even though I haven't had a baby in over three years. Some call it spring cleaning, but for me, new season cleaning is more accurate. Take the breather while you can!!!

I look back on my nesting phase and wish I had that bizzare motivation and energy again...my house could use it! Enjoy, I am excited to see pics of the little guy!

Ha ha ha ha...I love this post! I'm afraid I still "nest" all the time. I call it OCD now though! I love how Ryan's trying to help; my hub just rolls his eyes & wonders if there are some crazy pills available to help me! You two are going to make PHENOMENAL parents!
