Cheyney is Pregnant!!!

GIRL???
or
BOY???

We've tried to tell as many people in person before we blogged about this, so if we didn't get the chance to tell you in person yet, we apologize. After many prayers, fasting, lots of worry, and some help by some good Doctors we are happy to report that Cheyney is expecting. Her due date is June 21st. As for gender, what is your guess? Boy or girl? And any advice you would like to pass on to new parents?

Glad to see your news is officially public.

Um, my guess is either a boy or a girl.

My advice is don't confuse the diaper cream with the Icy Hot.

We're so thrilled for you two!!

Hooray! I'm so happy for you too. I love the pics, the little girl with her face in the dog food bowl is hilarious! (she is a girl you know, check out the bow, unless that is just you Ry). I hope you have a little girl cause I think you'd be good little girl parents and for some reason I'm partial to girls. Advice...um, Cheyney...anything weird that happends to your body right now, if it's not in the book (What to Expect...)then just don't worry about it until 6 weeks after you deliver, it will probably just work itself out...good luck!

Oh, oh, OHHHHH! I am soooo excited for you! How lucky your little one will be to have such amazing parents as you both. Being a mom isn't easy, but so worth it. Being a dad IS easy and WORTH it too! :) ha ha ha

My advice: TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES AND VIDEOS!! I was just looking at photos of my almost two year old today and tears almost came to my eyes! They grow up SOOOO fast and it is so fun to look back on his short life so far! Also, you should take pictures of your CUTE belly too (of course you don't have one now and YES I know it will be cute!!!) You may not want to, but they are sure fun to look back on and think about your amazing journey to parenthood! I was the lucky one who had a very loving and excited dad-to-be that took my picture every month! :)

Congrats! June is definitely way tooo long to "meet" (remember advice....take lots of pictures!) your little bambino! I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well and enjoy every moment!

You guys!!!! Congratulations!!! Wow! How exciting!! You both will be such great parents!

I have many friends here at Dartmouth medical school and the advice is for morning sickness, Doxylamine is available as a sleeping pill under the brand name Unisom Nighttime Sleep-Aid. Take that with Vitamin B6 (not the gel caps-that's a diff drug). You take half a sleeping pill at night with the B6 and you will have NO morning sickness. Check with your doctor first of course, but all of our ward pretty much does it their entire pregnancy and it's safe and effective.

Yay!!!!

So thrilled for you both!!!!

As for the gender...well, I have two of each, so diplomatically speaking they are both great. But honestly speaking I hope it is a girl...I think girls make the best oldest children. Although I adore my boys (and they adore me).

Advice....no matter how hard they are at the beginning just remember to take a deep breath and tell yourself that this was your dream. You find those little moments where they stare at you at 2 am can be some of the best. Also remind yourself that it really only gets easier with age (contrary to popular belief). They won't always get up a million times a night and the spitting up ends eventually. And it all worth it if you can look back on those first few months with happy memories rather than regretful ones.

Congratulations!!!!! Enjoy....

Hi Cheyney! It's Katie Morgan. (Craig's sister.) I love your blog! I'm SO excited (and jealous) for you. You are such a wonderful person. Being a mother is one of the best and HARDEST things you'll ever do. You're life will change drastically once that special spirit comes into your life. If there is any advice I could give you...realize that sleep is no longer in your vocabulary!! It's starts from the day you get pregnant. I hope you are doing well! Finally I can say "Congratulations"! Yay! We're so excited for you guys!
As to the gender, I'm a little partial to boys, but I think you'd do great with a girl, so either way I think you'll do great!!
Best advice I can give you is this: "With the fearful strain that is on me night and day, if I did not laugh I should die." --Abraham Lincoln
You will be under a lot of "strain" while he/she is little & while he/she is growing up, don't forget to take time every day to "laugh" or you just might die. :) And then when you laugh, (especially at the things they do as they get older) don't forget to write it down, so you can read it later and laugh again. (You could use your blog for the writing down part, because I find other people can use a good laugh too.)
Congrats again!!

Cheyney, this is incredible! I would love to call you and talk to you, but I do not think I have your telephone number or email address. Please send it to me. My email is on Facebook, and I believe my telephone number is too. I have been traveling every month for longer than the last year, but I hope to be settling down a bit now. Are you in Georgia? I would love to see you at some point. I was sad we never got together when you were in L.A.

Motherhood is the most amazing experience. You are going to be the cutest mom ever! I am soooooo happy for you and can't wait to see the lil tyke!
My advice is to drink plenty of water and take lots of walks with your hubby. It's fun to walk hand in hand and get smiles from everybody.
